Changing myfans Plans Without Paying for Both

Joining a more expensive myfans plan does not replace the old one. Compare the actual posts, subscriptions and renewal dates first.

myfans does not have an automatic plan-switching feature. If you join a higher-priced creator plan without canceling the lower-priced one, both plans are charged. That is the warning in the platform's monthly-plan guide.

The expensive button can look like an upgrade. Treat it as another subscription until your account shows otherwise.

Start with the post you actually want

Go back to the particular post or benefit that made you consider changing. Read which plan includes it, then compare that plan's description with your current one. Save the exact names; “the cheap one” and “the premium one” become surprisingly unhelpful when a creator offers several options.

Do not infer that the highest price includes every lower plan's content. The relevant evidence is the creator's stated inclusion, not the order of the price cards. If a description says 全プラン, it means all plans; 限定投稿 means restricted or members-only posts. Neither phrase, by itself, answers which historical posts are included in your particular purchase.

If the inclusion remains unclear, ask one narrow question before paying: “Does Plan B include the posts I can currently see in Plan A?” You are establishing what you would receive, rather than asking the creator to design a new package.

Choose whether overlap is worth it

There are two practical choices:

Canceling a normal monthly plan cuts off its posts immediately; it is not a scheduled downgrade. Our cancellation guide explains the different rule for bundles. If yours is a bundle, check its remaining contract before assuming a cancellation will remove all future payments.

For illustration, imagine plans priced at ¥1,000 and ¥3,000. Keeping both creates ¥4,000 in plan charges, before any separate purchase fee or currency effects. It does not automatically become a ¥2,000 upgrade. Those are example prices, not a myfans tariff.

If you already have two charges

Open 加入中のプラン in your account and compare the creator, exact plan name and renewal date for both entries. Then compare the purchase records with the charges. Two active plans are a different problem from currency conversion or an unfamiliar statement name.

Cancel the subscription you no longer want using the actual account controls. Deleting a bookmark, leaving a creator's social account or deciding that you only use the higher tier does not make a subscription change. Keep the confirmation and check the remaining plan's name before closing the page.
